A Denise Wallace jewelry collector will instantly recognize the opportunity available with the purchase of this Pendant. This is a rare, original figure that has never been replicated in any way. It is also unusual in that it includes the work of both Denise and Samuel, as well as the scrimshaw skills of their daughter, Dawn -  we can't think of another, singular piece which includes this combination of skills. Made in early 2000, it is prominently featured in the book  "Arctic Transformations; the Jewelry of Denise and Samuel Wallace" by Lois Sherr Dubin, uniquely allotted its own page (page 230) and is also seen with an example of a Denise Wallace "Faces" Necklace on page 210.
Note that this piece is a Pendant only, without pin hardware. At 4¾" tall it is the perfect size for a bold-statement as a pendant, and the pin hardware would just get in the way.
