Transformation Earrings by Denise Wallace. c, 1990
These earrings are a handmade example of a style which Denise Wallace later re-created in a casting. Also, they were originally made as Clip-on's, and are still in that form now (though they can be converted to post earrings if desired. In the cast iteration, we would expect to see a face of a seal carved in ivory in one earring and the face of a human in the other. Note that these both have the face of a seal.These are quite special!
The triangular bezel is about 1.25" X 1.25"; The whole earring is about 2.5" tall
