"Arctic Madonna" Pendant (2024) by Denise Wallace

This piece was inspired by a 1980 Lithograph of the same name created by the Canadian Inuit artist Pitaloosie Saila, RCA ((1942 - 2021), Kinngait Nunavut, Canada). It portrays an Inuit mother with her child in her Amauti, or parka hood, with two curious little owls peeking around from behind her.

The rectangular Portrait itself is 1.75" x 1.5"; It is 2.25" tall including the bale on top. The included leather necklace is 18" long and has a lovely Sterling Silver clasp.
