The metalwork is truly amazing with layers upon layers of Sterling Silver and 14Kt Gold detailing the feathers in all their glory. Scrimshaw on fossil walrus tusk enhances the details on the wings, tail, face and feet, and the power of this bird is palpable. This is a truly gorgeous piece that would exhibit beautifully in a shadowbox frame when not being worn.
