The now rare turquoise from Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona is the only American turquoise that looks like the "robin's Egg Blue Turquoise from the historic Persian Turquoise Mines. The mine closed in 2012 and this well-known turquoise has become highly sought after. This necklace has 18 carats of turquoise, and it was decided that only 18Kt Gold matched the nicely graduated blue and blue/green stones.
