Drum Dancer by Elijah Michael

This piece was made around 1997 by the late artist Elijah Michael, from Kimmirut on Baffin Island. It stands tall, at twenty and a half inches, and depicts an Inuit man standing and drumming, setting the rhythm of his dance with the drumbeat.
